JCM 9,130 #1 Posted July 11, 2020 (edited) For the past 10 years I have driven past a Dunk the clown set up as used at Fairs about 5 miles down the road from our house. I have wanted to stop in and ask if it were for sale as it sits in the yard overgrown with weeds and tall grass but in the 10 years I have never ever seen anyone out of the house in the yard which seems strange and afraid if I knock on the door a clown in full dress and make up may answer the door and I may freak out like a little kid at the circus. Anyway, I was thinking maybe next year at the Meet & Greet in N.Berwick Maine because of the situation, we are planning to still have it this September. My question is do any of you members here have any idea who may make a good candidate to sit in the chair in full dress and go for a few dunks, do we have anyone willing to volunteer. c-series don 8,665 #10 Posted July 12, 2020 (edited) I am a master of this! I have been in charge of our fire departments dunkin booth at our annual fundraiser carnival for over thirty years. Although I don’t get in the booth anymore my main job is to stand outside and heckle people to throw balls if the person in the booth isn’t doing that. Also to get people to go in the booth. I used to consume copious amounts of alcohol and go in the dunkin booth then really agitate people by egging them on. One thing I know is that the madder people get the more money they will spend to dunk you. Once in the nineties I had to have the police escort me out of the booth and into the firehouse because a couple of guys were so pissed at me they wanted to kick my ass.
