Great to see a machine and family heirloom getting the treatment it should have.

Nice work!

Welcome aboard!

That's a real nice tractor!  I love the tool pouch, did that just bolt to holes in the back of the seat?

I'm also curious about the Kirk Engines stuff, I've been eyeing the Bosch coil for a while now.  How is that all working out?

@Ro-Go did you use the factory front wheels that came on the 414 or others with your Deestone Tri-ribs? Also it must be a late 80s thing with the paint I also have a maroon stripe 414-8 (I purchased from the original owner) and 312-8 with the paint in really sad shape but I just finished some touch up work on the 414 before it goes to its new home.   Nice to see you keeping the "family" machine going. Enjoy.

:text-welcomeconfetti:  that’s an awesome introduction story and you did a great job getting your grandfather’s tractor going again!

My grandfather fabbed the tool carrier; I affixed it with tek screws. So far it's running tip top. I went soup to nuts with the Dave Kirk add-ons, just installed the breather cover too.

Yes, they are the factory wheels. I painted them Rust Oleum "Ivory Bisque."
