12Horse Paladin 1,038 #1 Posted July 4, 2020 My life...is what it is. But i remain (or try to stay) grateful. I kno i made many of the decisions/mistakes that make it so. And that's to say both Good things and Bad. Well, y'all here are part of the Good, so here i am again sharing. I inherited Her with This House. In truth, i would have been just fine just becoming Her Charge; but that too, is what is. Well yesterday Clara went to the vet for the 1st time in her life; n i thought it would be to be put down. Without details, i got Blessed again. Forget the Tractors; Forget the Money. She's my World rightnow, n im glad she's gonna be around awhile longer if i have anything to say bout it. She had a infected uterus from never having gotten fixed. I'm lucky it drained, instead of backing up; that'da killed Her. Another bill i dont need n will hafta pay, but that don't mean anything, righthere, today. 1st pic is ride home; then late lastnight, n then this morn. She seems to be still sleepy, n thats ok by me. Ive slept about 4hrs since 430am yesterday morn...bout 2ft from her, on the floor, lol Ill get all the sleep i need when im dead. Today is a good day. Thankyou all for listening n lettin me share. Y'all have a great 4th. 2 1 1

At this time I have Lab/golden about 2 1/2 yrs and hes keeping me going --- Had to admit my little bride of 60+ yrs to nursing home with dementia last fall and if I didnt have this crazy, rambunctious, destructive ... nut of a dog I dont know if I could have made it thru since then, especially since I can no longer visit her what with this Corona mess. Yessir, dogs ARE special!!! 2
