dells68 7,498 #1 Posted July 2, 2020 Emory and I are with our good friends Joe and Clay on our way to the Southeast Old Thresher’s Reunion in Denton, NC. Likely to be the only tractor show we get to go to this year. We have a pop up camper, food to fix, drinks, masks, and hand sanitizer. Think we’re covered! We’re just going to avoid close contact with folks. We’ll be there tonight through Sunday. Look at the smile on the boys’ faces!! 7 3
bottjernat1 2,190 #2 Posted July 2, 2020 I went to an indoor show in march. I took my 2 youngest girls it was in auburn indiana. Looks like a show in MIchigan I go to will be a go as of right now and The biggest show in Portland Indiana. But the show that means the most to me in Lagrange Indiana is a no go. Super excited for the shows that are a go. You all have fun and stay safe! 1

dells68 7,498 #5 Posted July 2, 2020 Pics to come guys. We finally got camp setup after a trip to Lowe’s for a fitting for the sink. The boys are about to die with excitement. Our camping spot is in the shade, portapotty is close, we’re at the gate, and here is our view! 5 8

dells68 7,498 #12 Posted July 4, 2020 Few more from today. I have a video of a diesel horse and a 1916 Waterloo Boy that I’ll have to share when I get home and have WiFi . We are pooped! Wearing a mask in 92+ temps is rough! Sad part is very few people are wearing them. 4 3
953 nut 55,071 #13 Posted July 4, 2020 Glad you are having a good time. Too bad so few people are willing to take the advice of our medical professionals and wear a mask. I see this 953 has the dual wheel set-up and the optional washboard seat back. @BOB ELLISON hasn't made one of those yet. 2

dells68 7,498 #15 Posted July 4, 2020 Thanks @Lee1977. Not sure we’ll have time tomorrow. We’ve got to get Emory home early tomorrow as we don’t have his seizure medicine for tomorrow and I don’t want to risk another seizure. We just got back from circling the grounds and I got a few more pics from around the grounds.

dells68 7,498 #17 Posted July 5, 2020 We finished up the show with a great meal we grilled out (bbq chicken, corn, veggies, and fried potatoes) and made a last minute purchase - a 1950’s Wisconsin V4D engine. We split the cost of $100 for this find and it runs! Heading home in the morning with our goodies!
Stormin 9,981 #18 Posted July 5, 2020 Which model of Wheel Horse are you putting that engine in, Dells? Going to outdo Eric and Colossus?

Well, the plan is to go through it and get everything buttoned up and starting easier. When we’re done, I’m going to build a cart for it so that we can move it around when we want to take it to shows. We’re thinking about pulling it with one of my big horses like the D160. It’s fun to plan and think about what we might do with it. Ended up being a really great weekend for us four guys! 1 1
