daveoman1966 3,749 #1 Posted July 1, 2020 Most all front AXLE PINS are 3/4" dia x 3-1/2" long for B C and 300-400-500 series tractors. It is part # 6216. I have one that is 3/4" dia and is 4" long....just 1/2" longer. What's more, the flat PLATE is also 1" longer.... making the 3/8" bolt hole 1" different too. I am CERTAIN this Axle Pin is from a Wheelhorse, and isn't worn at all. Can ANYBODY identify this AXLE PIN... 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
JAinVA 4,619 #2 Posted July 2, 2020 (edited) Are you sure this isn't a custom creation?After all these years ,who knows.I have one I made on my 312a custom that is 3/4" longer and looks stock.I took the the time effort and have the resources to do that.Some one else could have created a one off.I often make new center pivot pins instead of paying $28.00 dollars for OEM ones. daveoman1966 3,749 #3 Posted July 2, 2020 As a bettin' man, my C-note says that this NOT a prefab axle pin.... Everything about it...the end weld, paint color and fade with wear off, and end slot for the Circlip all say that it came off the Wheelhorse production line. Over the past 30 + years, I've torn down and parted out over 50 Wheehorse tractors and have most of the front axles from them. daveoman1966 3,749 #8 Posted July 17, 2020 In looking at scehmatics, ALL of the Front Axle Pins #6216 are installed Back-to-Front...except for the C-195. It is the ONLY axle pin I can find that goes in Front-toBack..AND...shows that the FLAT Plate appears to be somewhat longer than all other models. The pin #6216 is on 382 models and ONLY the C-195 uses the Axle Pin #109712. So, after hours of punching this keyboard, I have to say 'UNCLE'...
