I keep telling myself 14 more years and I can retire early with full pension. Then I would need these projects to keep me busy

Let's see... your daughter is 7  now so in 14 years (or less) she won't want to have anything to do with your hobbies and you can make seats.... works for me ... I'll have nothing better to do than restore tractors! :)

She loves tractors and already says only red tractors are good:lol:. The 1973 wheel horse of my father-in-law’s is destined to be hers. She even knows what a carburetor is already:D

UPDATE

I have been swamped with orders and I'm still behind.

so after some thought i will continue making the seats until its to cold in my garage to work.

The lawn ranger seats i can sew all year long.

I just precut all the foam for 8 seats now that its nice outside.

The 953/1054 i can only do until its too cold

for me to do them in my unheated garage.

If i feel good next spring I'll continue if I can.

I thought Bob had stopped making seats. We have a new guy here making seats now, names Matt or @grnlark

Bob retired from seat making a couple of years ago, after selling off his sewing equipment. The last previous post in this thread was nearly four years ago!  If you read through the earlier posts in this thread, you’ll find his “adios, amigos”.
