WHNJ701 4,165 #3 Posted July 1, 2020 what am I missing on that mower deck? it doesn't look typical wheelhorse?
Tractorhead 9,065 #4 Posted July 1, 2020 @jabelman It appears to be a spindle mower. seems interesting
Tommy Graffen 15 #5 Posted July 1, 2020 Thanks for the prompt replies they are a great help. The cutting deck looks to have been modified to fit reasonably well.It has a cylinder cutter with a roller(great for leaving lines on the lawn) unfortunally it came with a seized 7hp Kohlar engine .I have a brand new old stock 16hp but it is to tall to fit under the hood. The plan is to build a miniature version of a Massey Ferguson 135 for my grandson,This model of wheelhorse lends itself shape wise to the project.I will update as we progress the build. Lee1977 6,872 #6 Posted July 1, 2020 The mower deck appears to be a flail mower.

71_Bronco 1,072 #12 Posted July 2, 2020 Interesting little tractor. Looks like someone put a lot of effort into it at one point. The mini-3-point is pretty cool too. Not sure how useful it would be with the manual lift and tiny cable, but still cool none-the-less.
Tommy Graffen 15 #13 Posted July 2, 2020 to be honest l am just happy that its there as it lends itself to the look that l,m trying to achieve.Your right though it would be pretty useless with a 2 furrow plough hanging from it. Cheers Tommy
Sparky-(Admin) 21,551 #14 Posted July 2, 2020 I did a similar setup with a pullstart Honda but I moved the pullstart mechanism so that I could pull it from the seat. Much better than getting off the seat all the time. (thought I had a better side pic, but you get the idea)
