I have flat feet... growing up, the only shoes I had without them were my Converse sneakers...! :(

 

I hated how loud they were on those tile floors at school... sounded like tap shoes... :hide:

They banned those at school because 

they were too loud. I remember some guys would run down the hall and slide

on their heels thus destroying the floors.

 Not sure, but I think we called them segs or something like that. To stop you boot/shoe heels for wearing down at the back.

Some shoe makers still use them (in antiquated Britain) bought some brogues for my old ladies funeral few years back that had them already fitted... 

I never wear black to funerals , in case your wandering why they are not black...
