I'm wondering what could this possibly be. On the way out he says, "You know how I was popping wheelies with the tractor?". I was like, "Yea." He says, "Well I did it again, and it turned out bad"

Then I see this:

It was one of my tractors that had the 3/4" spindles on the front axle.

He said the tractor was almost straight up.

I told him I have a 3/4" spindle on a non running tractor that I could use, but I got to thinking I might as well swap it out to a 1" front end.

Ummmm,  How do you pop a wheelie with a "D" ? Go backwards and ram it forward?

Honestly, it’s quite impressive to get such a big ole’ block that high no matter how he did it... :hide:

:ROTF:

Glad he was ok, and had the humility to tell you what he had done.  :handgestures-thumbupright:

It might be time for him to have an ATV or dirt bike.  much better suited for popping wheelies vs the tractor.

Did the tractor have the dampener valve assembly on it.  (May have to add one to keep junior on  terra firma with all 4 wheels)

What's this, "I'll have to fix the spindle" or I'll have to check the splines"?   Sorry, but I'm thinking this could be a excellent opportunity to actually learn something constructive.  Like I told my boys and my dad told me growing up; You abuse it and it breaks, YOU fix it!

Paul, this was one of my D"s that was not equipped with a Value Crossover Relief valve.

Good way to fog for skeeters it looks... just get the front end high enough to push the oil out of the block :ROTF:

Good way not only to brake the tractor but yourself. Tractor came over backwards on me once and I broke my arm in 100 pieces. I wasn't even trying to pop wheelies. I would put an end to that real quick. Just my opinion. What's next.... chain saw juggling?
