Stepney 2,325 #1 Posted June 21, 2020 So, back in January, I had a fellow from NY get in contact with me over the subject of a 1937 Briggs & Stratton engine I had for sale. Long story short, he said he had a seaplane, and asked if I'd hold it till summer when he could take it up.. Not being too big and not being in a rush to move it, I took him up on it.. Well, the day finally came. He flew up from the Adirondacks in this Cessna 195, met him out on Great East Lake in Shapleigh, ME. Aboard a 1958 MirroCraft.. Quite the job switching them from the little boat to the plane, the plane's pontoon nearly submerged with 3 of us standing on it. Had to get pictures.. nobody would believe me otherwise hahah. The old engine is going back to good use at last. Glad to see it being useful. 8

Motor is a 1969 Evinrude 25 long shaft. All she needed was an ignition tune up and water pump. Everything else is just fine. Very smooth and always fires first pull.

Aren't you glad it was a B&S and not a Hit & Miss! 1 1
