This is a little depth gauge I made for measuring blind holes etc. 

It's been super useful on projects where a standard gauge wouldn't fit.

I used it to set the timing on my Villiers engined meadow cutter.

Clever ways of applying leverage using at hand items. One can make a tool out of basically anything. No need to go and  buy a “specialized” tool that will probably be useless anyway.
