VirginiaMoo 9 #1 Posted June 13, 2020 I just inherited this bad and I'm looking for some help with a few things... First off, does anyone know how to find out what year it is? I'm just curious as to how old it really is. I know I need a new seat and looking for suggestions on where to get one and if there is a cheaper seat that fits it as well. I started looking on line and that is how I ran across this group. Looks like this group might be a lifesaver for me! I prefer to have older equipment that is in great shape over the newer stuff that is cheaply made and has all the emissions controls, etc. I have found a new air filter on ebay, but if you guys recommend a better parts place I'm all about supporting small businesses or businesses that help people keep vintage equipment going! If anyone has any recommendations on things to watch out for or cares to share info on this bad boy, please do!! My dad had it on a trickle charger for years and had installed a fuel shut off valve, so it fired right up! Thank you!! 5
WHNJ701 4,165 #2 Posted June 13, 2020 (edited) wow a toro, police interceptor edition, pretty rare! might check out tractor supply for a cheap seat, or if there are mower shops that part out tractors, as long as it's not a yellow one, but the yellow ones are comfortable Edited June 13, 2020 by jabelman 1
AMC RULES 37,130 #3 Posted June 13, 2020 Local Tractor Supply should have your seat. 1

gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,046 #5 Posted June 13, 2020 ID decal should have the model number and serial number. Those should lead us to manuals. Can see the corner of it. Garry
c-series don 8,723 #6 Posted June 13, 2020 Straight up hilarious “Police Interceptor!” Best of luck with it, you came to the right place because you will not meet a nicer group of people than the people here on Red Square! 1
Pullstart 62,912 #8 Posted June 13, 2020 I’d love to see that running down the bad guy in a high speed chase! PIT maneuver!

bds1984 1,435 #11 Posted June 13, 2020 That sticker instantly doubles the HP! Great little machine. I mowed my aunt's yard for years with one until she "upgraded" to a green machine. 1

gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,046 #14 Posted June 13, 2020 The 8-25 was sold for many years but the model 56132 was 1991 and 1992 only. This one is 1992. Here is a link to the correct manuals https://www.wheelhorseforum.com/search/?q=56132&quick=1&type=downloads_file Garry
