Recommended Posts

WheelHorse_of_course

Service Bulletin #252 covers conversion from Limited Slip to 8-pinion differential.

Service Bulletin #425 covers improved transmission mounting plate for C series and later

Does anyone have a copy? Reward offered.

I am also looking for any other SB related to Wheel Horse Manual transmissions.

I already have:

# 55 which covers lubricant;

#52 brake shaft bearings/spindle;

#60 shift rails;

76 Lawn Ranger trans 5048 no longer available - replacement instructions;

70&80 transmission interchange;

105 release of new manual;

273 8-pinion differential cap change;

369 changes to differential end cap nut;

394A Differential parts NLA - recommended service kit

If there are others that are on neither of these lists, please let me know the number and what it covers, even if you don't have a copy. I have compiled a SB list and am in the process of updating it.

Just search the Files using the service bulletin number. You will get many results but just look down the titles for the one you want.

or

Here is all of them on 24 pages in order. There were about 5 different numbering systems used for them and all we have are there.

Thanks Garry

I looked into this quite a few years ago. At that time I was aware of 185 SBs and had copies of 101. Looks like another 30 or so have been found since then.

Many are superceded and therefore technically not relevant, but still history.

I *may* compile them all into a single document. For now I just wanted to be sure I had them all for the transmission.

Speaking of transmissions. Many of us have been sorely disappointed with the quality of the Wheel Horse scan of the mechanical transmission manual. I just posted a scan that is *much* better. The text within the photos is far more legible. I am reviewing that document to see if it covers all known service bulletins. It does refer to #252 meaning it doesn't cover that one. Andthere are a few others that came out after that manual was printed, so they are relevant too.

Cheers to all
