Fast and cheap.  A display for a local party store.  “I don’t care what you build it out of, just get it before the weekend if you can!”

I'm so cheap that when the cards align, I can do all three, while juggling.

All pieces cut...  Some pilots, some screws, some putty, some sanding.

3 hours build time.  Not terrible!  Slight change of my plans...  We didn’t discuss finish, but I think he plans to use this as a vape / smoking something or another display, so I figured I’d try out my new “wood burner” purchased as a weed torch.

Let me know what you think!

oh, yes, 2 what’s missing Picts - cool

ok, i found  fails, Just 2 stairs added, the coke bottle is empty, the blue trash can is added, also a blue canister,

2 accudrills are added,

Or

I see 2 stairs and an empty coke bottle  - that increases the cost...😎

means on 5 stairs 2 1/2 bottles of coke... 😂

Nice work Kevin! :handgestures-thumbupright: Burnt pine is one of my favorite finishes to do. Do you plan on varnishing it?

“Burnt pine is one of my favorite...”—enter one of your many custom tractor show placards:greetings-clappingyellow:

Looks good Kevin. Seems like the end result will work well for the purpose intended...and that is the goal😉

That burned wood reminded me of a set of shelves I stained with tire black 30, 40 years ago. didn't have any cash for real stain. Came out good, a little dark.

Thanks for the comments guys!  For some reason he only plans to use it for 2-3 months... so given his fast and cheap circumstances and the fact that I need to go clear that land, and now that the race tracks are opening, I’m getting pretty busy to do much more to it.

So my customer was so excited with this display, his brother who owns another similar store across town has asked for a duplicate!

Time for work!

Absolute best way to get new business right there. Word of mouth from satisfied customers.

So, I’ve been hung up.  Wrong cuts.  Poor fit.  Didn’t like the look.  Couldn’t figure it out.  I went down to the store and took dims and got to work again.  I realized what I had done.  I back cut for 3/4” stock but the stuff I’m working with is 1/2”!

I’m finished!  Out of necessity I changed the screw color and I like the contrast better.  Did some clean up work now time to deliver.
