mdtoro 2 #1 Posted June 10, 2020 I was looking to power my tow behind sprayer. Are there any optional power outlets? I can always runs something off the battery but would prefer something a bit closer to the back. And of course find a good place to mount a switch. The included wring won't quite reach to the battery.
DET 107 #2 Posted June 10, 2020 I just ran mine off the battery along the frame to the back. I plug my sprayer in there and just loop the switch around the hi-low selector so the on/off switch is handy.
mdtoro 2 #3 Posted June 11, 2020 I decided to add this connector off the battery and dump the alligator clips for SAE connectors. The battery isn't really accessible for alligator clips. Might mount a perm weatherproof SAE style connector to the back of the tractor.
shallowwatersailor 3,213 #4 Posted June 11, 2020 (edited) The previous owner of my now sold 523Dxi ran 12V power for his sprayer to the rear of the tractor. He ran it along the frame and then came through the center screen at the bottom. From there he used glue-on tabs with wire ties to bring the end where he plugged it in next to the seat. When I installed my JB Sleeve Hitch I ran the power for the actuator alongside the frame and installed the 3-way switch on the dash. I did a few electrical add-ons to that tractor so you may care to do a search in the archives. Edited June 11, 2020 by shallowwatersailor
