Sammy 89 #1 Posted June 8, 2020 I was wondering if anyone could give me any information on my 1971 800 special. It is a great machine and i have the original deck and mule drive it was sold with and I am the 2nd owner. It is a strong running tractor that has been more of my play toy. bottjernat1 2,190 #3 Posted June 8, 2020 (edited) My oldest daughter has my old 1972 workhorse 800. Such a beast I put a old 12hp Tecumseh motor in it. I bought it when i was 17. She came all shinny when i bought it. No motor or seat. Poured lead rear wheel weights. It is a pullin machine! It also has red neon lights under the frame and a tow motor horn.
