David414 289 #1 Posted June 8, 2020 Brought a used 48" SD deck and the model number sticker only has 783 or could be 782. I can't read the rest of the model number. Seller claims it came off a 520 WH. I need help in identifying the model number and year. All pulleys came off without using a puller, and pulleys are not keyed. Just removed the spindle nuts, and pulleys slid off. It has a two piece deck, the main shell and a second elongated metal deck that sits on top of the main shell. Thanks! gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,033 #3 Posted June 8, 2020 I don't know if this will work or not Go to this page which is 19 of 26 pages. The decks are in older to newer order. https://www.wheelhorseforum.com/files/category/18-mower-decks-reel/?sortby=file_name&sortdirection=asc&page=19 Start at Mower Rotary 48in SD 1993 78360 3-4-500 OM IPL SN.pdf which is when they started with that type of model number. Look for the 3-4-500 which is a deck for your size/style of tractor. All 48" decks have the top reinforcement plate. A very strong deck. Garry
daveoman1966 3,745 #4 Posted June 8, 2020 111726 or 110172 is the correct spindle for 42 or 48 decks that DO NOT use the Woodruff key in the top pulley.
