Pullstart 62,878 #1 Posted June 7, 2020 Wife’s boss sent a Marketplace ad to her for a for cheap. A message and a trip ‘cross town... here we have a Raider 10 with a custom paint job and some extra character on the hood! Three or four flip flop equipped helpers and it was in the truck Better yet, I figured it was her new toy. Get home and “Happy Father’s Day” I hear! 4

I really don’t believe I could have predicted this outcome... when I brought up the idea in 2018 to not mow half of the 3 acres I keep clear... and she responded “if you go get a zero turn mower, you can have as many Wheel Horses as you want!” 18-20 more tractors, and here we are... still on the prowl! RandyLittrell 3,877 #8 Posted June 8, 2020 Some of you boys are real lucky, and have some great wife's!!!! Love my wife, but you can't talk tractors in my house! Randy
Tractorhead 9,064 #9 Posted June 8, 2020 i Feel with you, but even if i can‘t talk about tractors at home either, All my scenarios are still accepted once at my Wife and by the Landlady because they know if i have a piece of Hardware i will use it also for their needs. it‘s a Win win situation i can deal with. 👍

Greentored 3,210 #11 Posted June 8, 2020 Nice find, and a nice wife that (kinda) understands...I think. I had to buy a 'flip' property with a 20x50 garage to hide the addiction from my girlfriend

Pullstart 62,878 #13 Posted June 10, 2020 There were top post connections on this tractor, so I grabbed a car battery and got to work. With a full charge, it wouldn’t roll over. I felt the starter and it was hot hot hot! I had voltage to the starter too, so I pulled it off. It’s stuck. I grabbed a spare and tossed it on. With a quick spray, it fired right off! No smoke or anything, though it’s been sitting over a year and a half. Time to pull the carb and dip it in the Berryman’s for a while. I’ll check operation of the fuel pump and drain the fuel system too , it’s quite stanky!
Pullstart 62,878 #14 Posted June 14, 2020 I know @stevasaurus will say I Got Trouble... But I’d like to explain how “Leroy” came about...
stevasaurus 22,740 #15 Posted June 14, 2020 That was an excellent video...until someone started to sing. Say, you want to hear a few choruses of Bad, Bad, LeRoy Brown. That's what I was thinking while watching your video....up to the "get the hook" part.
Pullstart 62,878 #16 Posted July 27, 2020 So I have been mowing with Leroy in the back field. He stumbles once in a while and sputters while running, I figured I’d have to clean the carb one of these days. Well, it started running really well, just before he ran out of gas. Tells me it’s running a bit rich! I will adjust the high idle screw a bit and see if it’ll clean up more!
Pullstart 62,878 #17 Posted July 27, 2020 One screws was 3-3/4 turns out, the other 1-3/4. It runs at WOT and idles so much better now! 1
