Yabberup Farm 0 #1 Posted June 5, 2020 Hi peeps, I have a 1976 C160 8-speed Wheel Horse Tractor with an attached rototiller. A couple of years ago my husband passed away and I have since then struggled to maintain my little 'trevor' the tractor. At present the belt that drives the rototiller has broken and I need to purchase a new one. BUT I have no idea what length of belt I need.....can anyone out there in Wheel Horse land help me.....I love my little 'trevor' and he works hard for me on my plot of land....but I need the tiller......regards
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,033 #2 Posted June 5, 2020 Welcome to the forum. The belt dimensions have been added to this page. Click on the fuzzy picture. We do not have a 76 operator manual but here is the 1977. Can you measure around the outside of the old belt to confirm the length? The idler system had changes made and sometimes a slightly different belt length is required. The same basic design was still used in 2007 Garry

Good on you for keeping the farm going! Edited June 5, 2020 by pullstart
Skipper 1,788 #4 Posted June 8, 2020 Of all the tillers and tractors I have had here, it has always been a 141" belt. If you can, then as suggested, measure or bring the old belt when buying a new one. Get one that is just a tiny bit smaller, as it has probably stretched a bit when it broke. So if it measures say 141.7 then go for 141 etc. But it is defenently in the 139" to 141" range You can get those fairly cheap online, so if you can measure it yourself, it might end up being a 10-20$ replacement. That being said, I don't know if you have any cheap belt suppliers in Australia.
