elcamino/wheelhorse 9,296 #7 Posted June 4, 2020 I wonder how many men were in the building moving it.
SPINJIM 1,981 #8 Posted June 4, 2020 Amazing is right. No one ever said the Amish weren't hard workers. I remember one time I bought a big old Briggs engine at an Amish auction. I asked a young Amish boy about 19 years old to help me carry it to my truck. He picked it up with one hand and carried it all the way. Jim 2
8ntruck 6,991 #9 Posted June 5, 2020 My son's Eagle project was to re-purpose the pool pump house at a camp into a storage shed. It involved moving it about 1/4 mile. We ended up building a frame inside of the building, sliding it off of the foundation onto one of the camp's trailers, then towing it to the new location with the camp tractor. We didn't think of this method.
The Tuul Crib 7,336 #10 Posted June 5, 2020 This is a truly amazing video! These people are hard workers. But my biggest concern is what happens if somebody falls down in the middle of all of it? Wonderful video Kevin thanks for sharing it with all of us! 2

Achto 27,505 #12 Posted June 5, 2020 Awesome team work by a community. We should take note. Heck I can't even get my buddies to hold up a story after a night on the town. 2 1
Pullstart 62,796 #13 Posted June 5, 2020 Did you notice, the guys standing on the beams inside the barn communicating to the rest...
Tractorhead 9,064 #14 Posted June 5, 2020 It‘s definitely amazing such harmonic movement. i‘m impressed abbout the synchronization of that crowd. you can find a crowd to move something, but if they not work synchron together, they will rip the Barn in pieces. Thanks for sharing, i found it real impressive.
Pullstart 62,796 #15 Posted June 5, 2020 Imagine the communication needed just to keep the building straight while going over that driveway and the dip following too! It still blows my mind after seeing the video how much that plus the bracing would weigh!
