Deere Hunter 54 #23 Posted April 24, 2010 but it a horse in sheeps clothing i don't remember horses with the flywheel facing th operator i always thought CUB only did that but it's ok your secret is safe with me. Once you hit the horsepower this twin makes, there is really no way of making a belt setup work. Believe me I tried for two years. The plus side to it, I know what will work with a belt setup and what won't. When I was running a belt I was coming off the line at 7400, now I am turning 9600 plus. Not sure there is a belt out there that will take that abuse. You may want to take a closer look, it's more than just bolt on sheet metal. Took 9 months of fabrication to get this one built. It is more WH than anything else, Most everything else is aftermarket or custom made :D
