Show us the Muscle of your Wheel Horse

Recommended Posts

Ok, so what did your Horse tug today, or pull out of the ground.....or tow something it shouldn't have. We all know these machines are incredible and durable. So in a word or two, show us or tell us what your 30 or 50 year old tractor did today to make you say.....why did they stop making these tractors ?

You may add anything you like about the stamped steel, beer can Tractors made and bought today....Oh, and then buy again in 2 years.....and then again in another two years....Can you believe they cost as much as a Wheel Horse back in the day ?

We haul 1000 pounds on a regular basis with the Cinnamon Horse.

Loads and loads of wood that are anywhere from 400 to 600 pounds.

Here it is helping to clear the land for the horse stable last year.

Note.... ZERO hesitation even at low idle.

That was effortless.....A true Wheel Horse...did not even stumble, or hesitate, just tugged it like there was nuthin there

People that have never had a Horse ...really don't get it. These  Tractors are way beyond, and way ahead of the time of all of us. I never really knew what one was until 1969

That was one of several times in the last few years when I didn't think it would actually work... But figured WTH let's try it anyhooo.

I didn't mean to leave it low idle either. I just forgot to hit the gas.

:hide:

Duug duug. Duug duug. Duug duug.

And before I knew it the tree was out.

Here’s a tug or two from Jane.

The Couch.  We were looking for a comfy spot to enjoy the drive by tractor show.

The Splitter.  It’s a heavy monster and that’s when I realized Jane don’t mess around.

I wish I had a picture of my dad on my 417 pulling my semi back into my driveway. It was just the tractor, but it was not running and a slight up hill grade.

I've posted these before and can't help but to post them again.  The 953 and the 46 Ford.
