scifi4all 6 #1 Posted May 17, 2020 (edited) I have been looking lazily, for a floating mid mount grader blade for years. Just hasn't happened. Saw this on Craigslist the other night at, what I thought was, a reasonable price. Claimed he had bought it with a C-series tractor, a couple of years ago. I know that this "New Holland" attachment is really a Toro/Wheel Horse re-branded. Obviously, it has an additional lift point (that can be removed)! It also has a different handle mount and I am not sure if it will need to be re-engineered. The mounting section has been cut and welded. I have to make or buy a lift link and a return spring for the handle. Finally, it is sort of the wrong color! I do not care about that, at this time. Questions. What is the actual distance the mounting rod should be, see my pic? Will the handle be an issue on my 70's C series tractors? Do I have to cut off that additional lifting point? Are there any other issues I may not be thinking of? Also, Thanks for any input! Edited May 17, 2020 by scifi4all
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,033 #2 Posted May 17, 2020 I cut the bar out and left the side frame long. Drilled new holes and used a loose bar. My frame was not cut and welded so your's may have already been modified. The distance is now 10" to the center of the bar so it was 15" originally. scifi4all 6 #3 Posted May 17, 2020 Garry, Just measured this one and it is at 13"? I will have to test fit it to see if there are any issues and /or just drill them out and put in another rod. Did the handle cause you any trouble with that high bend? Thanks!
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,033 #4 Posted May 17, 2020 No problem with the handle the way it is. Garry
