David414 289 #1 Posted May 17, 2020 I always did the normal routine maintenance on my 1989, 414-8, but never changed the transmission oil in 31 years. First time today after 1,400 hours of usage. Oil looked good, not black, no water, no metal flakes, no sludge. Good for another 1,400 hours! 4 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
JCM 9,391 #3 Posted May 17, 2020 Other than the usual side cover and footrest paint issue that most 3, 4, and 500 series have, unless moisture is kept away and a regular wax job , that is a nice ride.
