Racinbob 11,221 #3 Posted May 15, 2020 During the later years they had at least three methods of 'dampening' the clutch engagement. One was a strut that didn't utilize a spring, one used a damper along with a spring and a couple of other methods. They all drove me nuts. If you have a spring just remove all the other garbage and be done with it. If you don't have a spring do a search for p/n 108035, remove the garbage and install the spring as shown in Lee's picture.
