Autoc120 11 #1 Posted May 13, 2020 I have a 74 c120 hydro with a bad rear and hydro lift. So I put a rear out of a 74 c120 Manuel lift and rebuilt my cylinder and got new hydraulic lines. Now to the problem it doesn’t lift not even the mower deck unless I help..do I need to bleed system? Is the pump wrong everything looks the same including the ports I’ve been working at this for a week
daveoman1966 3,745 #2 Posted May 13, 2020 Did the donor tractor also have the Hydraulic Lift...? If not, you are missing some parts ...I have them. These parts are NLA from dealers... email to me at: daveoman@windstream.net
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,032 #3 Posted May 13, 2020 I believe some check valves need to be changed when the lift is added to a non-lift setup. Someone that knows more than me will reply. The pieces you need are likely in the old unit. Found this Garry
Autoc120 11 #4 Posted May 13, 2020 I still have the old rear I guess I’ll be investigating. Will those check valves be in the pump?
pfrederi 17,663 #5 Posted May 13, 2020 Look at the Sunstrand Manual in the manual section here. you have to move stuff on a piston to piston unit when you add a lift.
daveoman1966 3,745 #6 Posted May 13, 2020 All you gotta do is take these parts from the Sundstrand unit that has the hyd lift and put them into the EXACT same ports of the replacement unit you have. NOTE... you have switch the HOLLOW plugs too...not just the internal spings and cone valves. Put the SOLID plugs back into the donor tracotr 1
