Mickwhitt 4,584 #1 Posted May 13, 2020 This is on ebay uk at present. Anyone think it's worth a punt? 2 1
ebinmaine 67,270 #2 Posted May 13, 2020 Not familiar with how your pricing structure or model numbers run over there. I know they differ a little bit. Over here that would be a 1965 or 1966 model year. If you can get it for a reasonable price and account for the repainting of it that would be a great little rig.
Pullstart 62,787 #3 Posted May 13, 2020 That would be what I call a Commando 6. I call mine Jane. Jane rocks! For being such a light tractor, Jane tugs hard and don’t give up! Jane is a Tecky powered machine... but with a Kohler (carter) carb.

Sparky-(Admin) 21,300 #7 Posted May 13, 2020 Over in the UK weren’t Wheel Horses re-branded as Mountford (or something like that)? Did that company specify that they were to be painted green?
Tractorhead 9,064 #8 Posted May 13, 2020 Hopefully this is just a wrong display color... get next time his small brother.. upps.... 😎

Mickwhitt 4,584 #10 Posted May 13, 2020 Looks like it was red under the lawnmower green paint job. My C-125 is badged as a Mountfield and was originally red. It's up to just over 200 pounds so that's around the price I imagined . May try to bid on it as the little brother or sister for Fred. Mick 5

Sam Pasch 449 #12 Posted May 13, 2020 I think that could be a nice little tractor if it got a new paint job.
Stepney 2,325 #13 Posted May 13, 2020 The numbers clearly make it a WH .. but what about a Norlett? They were a green WH.

I think my dads Norlett confuses folk... . it was green when we got it in 2009 Norlett were gold or red. The only small frame they did were A-90 specials - badged Commander or T8-36 2

I'll never forget my rookie year at the BS there was a green and yellow one. I pointed out to one of the staff that I thought other brands weren't allowed... he told me to take another look and sure enough....
