Rototiller

Just picked up an older rototiller, no tag for model number. Is there any way to find out what it is? Guy said it came off an early one with hydro, but didn't know what the tractor was. I need the mule drive pullies and a belt. What else is needed to install/run it? It turns over great, not much free play in the pulley.

I have that same tiller you will need the pulley set that mounts in the atach a  matic the belt shows to be 139x1/2 if the pulleys on the tiller and tractor are worn you will probably end up using a 137 belt  .the pulley set  uses springs to hold tension on the belt . You also need a lift cable the tube it goes through and a rock shaft if you can find one.  A short piece of chain to connect to its lift arm .you can make it work without the rock shaft  if you can't find one. Mine isn't home right now but I could try to get pictures of how it's set up in a couple of days  if it would help.

I have the lift stuff so that shouldn't be any problems. I think I found the pulley set on evilbay….So really shouldn't matter if it's on a long frame or a short frame, just depends on the belt length.

Yeah I found I had to play with the belt length based on the wear of all the pulleys
