Looking to paint or treat my 310 and 312 stock mufflers black.

Any ideas or suggestions....maybe something you guys have done or used and the results were good?

Thanks everyone   John757659431_WHironon.jpg.6a753ee30cf552e16d8c2fd742eda099.jpg

Yes, I used the black and did multiple light coats.  If you can glass bead all the rust off, you will get the best results.

BBQ paint or stove paint. Used both.

Did it last very long, and did you use spray? POR 15 makes a high heat paint, but its super expensive. Brush application only

I used VHT.  You have to cure it between coats.  I used my BBQ grill as the curing "oven"

Its a spray paint and it's held up well.  If you can glass bead the muffler before painting that would be best.  Bill
