Andrew electrician 0 #1 Posted May 8, 2020 1054 won't start. Turns over. Lots of spark. Flooded. Every time. Looking to find carburator correct fuel and air settings and which screw is which. Please and thank you.
Pullstart 63,355 #2 Posted May 8, 2020 The top screw is your main, the 45 degree screw is your idle. Turn them in (clockwise) until they stop but don’t force them. Count turns out and adjust according to the K241 settings as a baseline. Here is a link for a good read 1

If you have been using gas with ethanol in it there may be some junk built up in the carb. Here is a site that will help you find ethanol-free gas. https://www.pure-gas.org/
Pollack Pete 2,273 #5 Posted May 9, 2020 953 Nut is right.I don't think the mixture screws will make it flood.Stuck needle in the carb equals removing, cleaning, and rebuilding carb.Have fun with that damn gas tank in the way.
