Global Warming...

This is definitely the latest I’ve ever used my wood stove, temperatures in the 30’s winds are cranking 30+ mph and it’s a cozy 72 in my house!

I summerized  ( is that a word....opposite of winterized) my wood stove  about a month ago.  Cleaned and polished the stove and cleaned and capped the chimney.

With fuel oil selling at $1.64 / Gal. I'll save my wood till fuel price increases.

Where I live, they say May 15th is the last frost date.  Last nights freeze/frost was May 8/9.  :orcs-cheers:

And all that salt went where????

They ship it to the northeast to spread it on the road in order to dissolve the cars.  :angry-cussingblack:

First, they mix it with a super adhesive to make a liquid that is impossible to remove.   It has a big appetite for those $200 each Ford brake rotors.

It can consume 4 in one winter ...and that's with out a plowable snow.

I hate these farm programs, corn in gas engines, soybeans in diesel and red beets on the highway.

Next time for brakes, I'm getting the coated rotors.

I planted a few beans in early April, with a hard frost in tonight's forecast I placed an individual greenhouse over each plant this afternoon.

Beautiful day here in Oklahoma today...did get a bit chilly for us last night (37 when I left for the coffee shop this morning) but warmed up to a wonderful 75 for the afternoon. Pretty nice compared to the upper 90s we had a few days ago. Boys and I decided it was a good day to take the old M for a cruise around the ranch

68°-73°-79° are the Fri-Sat-Sun temps in Fairbanks Alaska.

:hand: Kinda sounds like the climate is AFU to me!

Great... now we gotta worry about all those big polar bears migrating South in search of colder temps.See the source image

Not to worry, in about 10,000 years (+/- 1 or 2) another Ice Age will arrive.
