cpic1 0 #1 Posted May 8, 2020 Hi, I have a ark loader off a C -160 . It may sound like a stupid question but what kind of hydraulic fluid do I use ? just because the guy at NAPA asked me and do I fill the hole leg / hydraulic tank to the top ?
Pullstart 62,800 #2 Posted May 8, 2020 I typically use a mix of some ATF and tractor/trans hydraulic fluid in my hydraulic systems. It’ll work for my 16’ swing wing rear snow plow On my truck, it’ll do for my loader too. The only reason I run the ATF is to tint it for leak detection. If I see red on the ground, I know it’s likely hydraulic oil.
DET 105 #3 Posted May 8, 2020 Don't fill it to the top, you will need room for expansion.
