Spec number for Kohler engine?

Recommended Posts

K91 Wrench

I have a Suburban 400 with a 4 horse Kohler K91 engine I am trying to get into running condition. Looking at the Kohler website, they put those engines in so many applications, including several models of WH tractors, so they want a "spec number". The tinwork around the engine is missing, that's where the sticker with the number would be. Would anyone happen to know what the spec number of the Kohler in a Suburban 400 would be? Thank you!

You may be disappointed if you are looking to by new parts from Kohler for a K90 or K91. A lot of the parts have been discontinued, tins in general would be one of those items. You may have to resort to :techie-ebay:or place an add in our wanted section for parts that you can't find from Kohler.

If you have to resort to aftermarket parts here is one source for parts.

Yes, I know a lot are discontinued. But I would like to look and see what they have. I think it's easier to get parts from the OEM than try to find the right thing used. Although I have done both.
