Rick Ferrucci 17 #1 Posted May 3, 2020 Hello I’m considering buying a Kwik Way loader to install on a GT14. In looking for a loader that will fit, what dimensions are critical to first consider? The distance between the lift frame posts is 36” the bucket is 48”. Do these numbers sound acceptable? What other dimensions do I need to consider, or ask the seller before making a 2 1/2 hour trip, to make a deal? Thank you for your time. Rick
pfrederi 17,674 #2 Posted May 3, 2020 Sort of meaningless worthless dimensions 36" would fit over any WH and bucket size is irrelevant., Does it come with a sub frame and what was it from.. If you have welding fabrication skills about any FEL can be made to fit. if not you need to find something that has an appropriate subframe
Rick Ferrucci 17 #3 Posted May 4, 2020 The seller does not know what kind of tractor it had been on. I’ll see if there’s a model number. Maybe I can find subframe dimensions.
RandyLittrell 3,877 #4 Posted May 4, 2020 A subframe would be easy to fab and could even be bolted together most likely if you don't have access to a welder. Like @pfrederi said, almost any made for a garden tractor can be made to fit. They were usually the same except for the sub frames. If its not on a tractor now, its hard to know if pump, hoses and cylinders are good. Plan on spending some money to fix things. You will ever be without a loader again once you have one though, best money I ever spent!!! Randy
