cafoose 3,354 #2 Posted April 30, 2020 I used this and it did an excellent job followed by your favorite carburetor spray cleaner I also replaced the throttle shaft bushing and it's like a new carburetor
squonk 41,028 #4 Posted April 30, 2020 My Harbor Freight ultrasonic say do not use flammable liquids in the cleaner. Berrymans or Gunk carb cleaner is extremly flammable. These cleaners have electric heaters in them. I use Simple Green also.
Marv 919 #5 Posted May 1, 2020 Thanks for your response y'all. Are you using simple green full strength and does it remove corrosion? Marv

Marv My understanding is regular simple green will etch aluminum, I guess there is a different kind of simple green that will not. I havn't seen it though. pabird 40 #8 Posted May 1, 2020 Yes I use simple green straight out of the bottle. I've only used it on plastic and pot metal/aluminum carbs. Works fine.
