Nice sunny day so this afternoon....

Put the mowing deck onto the C-125 and mowed the green. Then took it off, cleaned it and replaced it.

Next rolled the green with the Sears/Roper and land roller.

After that took the Sears for a ride down to the far end of the bridleway and back.

On my return, cut off a large overhanging tree limb for a neighbour and got a nice load of timber.

Nice enjoyable and productive four hours. :)

Finally tonight filled in the 5 yearly census. Usual crap. Tick this box, that box.

I cleared a couple dead limbs from a side trail with Stormy, then for the most part organized WH parts and rode dirt bikes with the girls.  That new 65 beats the pants off the 110!

I busted out the pressure washer and started cleaning the bubbly paint and rust off the plow.  I have a feeling that by the time I’m dune blasting loose paint, it’ll be bare and ready for some prep, primer and paint!

Last night around 3:30 my son woke me up and said the bath room was flooded. Turn the water off at the commode the tank was leaking. Got the shopvac and and got three or more gallons.  Dumped that went to the basement and got up some more.

Got up about 10:30 waited till lunch went to Lowes for parts and got lunch. Got started after lunch took the tank off striped it and put it back together. Not use doing something half way and can't remember when I work on thar bath room last. Started to

the bowl up and Murphy show up. the bold just turned around with the nut. Went and got the side grinder and cut that bolt off. The other side came right off and the flange was shot. New I had one found it needed a short piece of 3" pipe and found that/

The pipe was up over my head with how knows what all was on top of it. Drug it out a few inches at a time all 9 ft. of it. Check for glue found that still smelled like glue couldn't pull the dabber out. Not my first go around better check If I need anything else.

I have changed those flanges before and installed with a rubber boot. Loosened the boot removed the screws could not get the flange to move, just broke the rest of the flange off.   Went to the basement used a block of wood and hammer could not get

the boot to move I cut it off. Back to Lowes to get the glue, boot and four brass screws. Finish up at 9:30 still haven't put the tools away.

Sorry Lee, sounds like a poopy situation!

As far as toilets go, I’m a big fan of the rubber wax rings.  They make service work a whole lot less messy!  I install one even with brand new toilets that come with their own wax ring.

Today after Work i tilled the Field

than i cleaned the whole area arround the House and put all on my Horse Trailer and do a ride with the Trailer into Forrest to the Dump.

I decide to ride the Road along, GPS tells me 18 Km/h ok not fast but not too slow.

after i ride back onroad 😂 and put the Trailer back into shed.

At least i decide for a extended Trail ride to the swamp Area - about 2hr Ride.

That's the type I used on my neighbors toilet that I reset a couple of weeks ago...

Can't stand cleaning up the old wax ring...

Plus if you use the traditional wax ring, and you set the commode, it's done ! But with the foam ring you can set the commode, then take it back up if you have to.

I got the 1' by 2' Armstrong engineered vinyl tile glued down in the utility room outside of the 1/2 bath I added recently.  Those big tiles sure cover the floor quickly.  Got to make and install baseboards, door castings, and finish up refinishing the window trim, then that room will be done.

Of course one project begets another.  The new floor now needs to be taken through the kitchen.  Peel up the old vinyl tiles, then stick the new ones down.  The old ones were high end tiles when I installed them about 12 years ago - the suckers SHRANK over the years.  Probably will get started on that over the weekend.

@ebinmaine, Trina - is the cog railway still in operation on Mt. Washington?  I rode it in the late 70's.  Was quite a memorable trip.

Yessir it is.

Runs in the tourist season.

Last I heard they use the steam engine on most Sundays for one run and the rest of the trips are the newer engines.

One of the hiking trails takes you right across the rails. It was pretty cool to see that rig and wave to all the folks on board.
