My attempt at Chili Pot Pie...

Never made pastry dough before, it shows.    I ran out of cold butter, so attempted with frozen butter on my top layer.  Ugh, it didn’t go well.

I'm thinking a cornbread crust would be really good in that cast iron pan with chili!!!

my official title?  I’m Daddy.  Along with that, I’ll teach a mean math lesson, fix tires and brakes, windows and blinds, poopin’ pipes, water pipes, weld, bend, drill, melt, cut, fell or anything else a person desires to pay me for, put stuff together and yep, marry people.  This was a “family Christmas vacation” with the in-laws, turned “Kevin’ll marry ya!” turned all inclusive.  Good deals during these “uncertain times” and here we are soaking up the Mexican sun :handgestures-thumbupright:

We need pictures!

For once the footwear might match the occasion!

I.E. the girls will be in flip flops round the pool or at the beach, not changing tires or some such.😃

Well, last night... I married my sis in law!  TO HER husband :handgestures-thumbupright:

The wedding was a beautiful event with laughter and wisdom and love.  Their hand written vows were the best part and we had somewhere between 100 and 200 zoom attendees as well.

Looks lovely there Kev, wet and windy here, not at all nice.

Girls look great in their summer stuff. The lizards are a bit out of the ordinary, we don't have anything like that here, tiny little newts are about our limit.

I've looked but I can't see a Wheelhorse anywhere!

Looks like a lovely spot to holiday.

We are banned from everywhere at the minute so will be staying at home lol

Seems a waste of time searching for a trade deal with Europe when they slam the door when it suits.

This new virus actually popped up in September so its not that new and it probably came in from somewhere else.

Just goes to show how this virus has got everyone scared stiff.

Oh did I mention? I bought a full set of compact tractor weights today. 5 x 20 kg cast iron suitcase weights. Just need to make a bracket for them.

Drawers sure are a lot of work, there's 14 surfaces to sand between coats.

Definitely tons of work on those. To avoid that I started making them out of prefinished Baltic Birch

Why is that there? Literally a beachcomber? Or headed to someplace?

I should have taken a video, might do it tomorrow.  It is a time rake machine that’ll level a hole dug in the sand, pick up seaweed and debris, trash, etc.  the back of it is a hydraulic dumpster!
