Here are a couple pics taken with the Kodak PixPro. I call this deer lucky zero mag at 10 yds That black dot is one of the 5 turkey I saw this morning. The Kodak is on 60 power and hand held. ebinmaine 67,277 #984 Posted November 7, 2020 Did a little organizing and moved some Wheelhorse pieces/parts around. @OldWorkHorse I found much of the stuff you're looking for. I spent over 3 HOURS learning the ways of the electric leaf blower. (top of a shop vac) given to us by @wallfish. Thanks John!!! VERY impressed. I cleared stuff out that had NEVER been touched from the edges of the forest. Still quite a ways to go but great headway. Trina spent most of the day working on painting and installing trim, amongst whatever 78 other things she was doing. I did battle with some brown wasps using my favorite ammo, brake clean. Just one suggestion, Eric. A cover over the vent to stop fumes for when your working down below. Even though the fan will be switched off. Even though the fan will be switched off. Good suggestion and appreciated. Trina has VERY sensitive senses, except eyesight. We have blocking pieces for the top side of every vent. We do use some cleaners and rarely, brake clean, downstairs. Engine oil but not gear oil. NEVER paint. I couldn't take the annoying clunk from the hitch when towing the boat in stop and go traffic. I tried shimming, welding spots on the slug, a 5/8" bolt and nut, but I still had the slight slug movement. I finally welded a 5/8" nut to a flat bar as a handle, then inserted the nut in the hollow slug and bolted it in position. Then welded the bar to the slug positioning the nut inside the slug over the clearance hole. Now I insert long 5'8" bolt thru the clearance hole side , thread it thru the nut out thru the slug and receiver. Then secure the slug to the receiver with another nut on the outside. Achto 27,505 #996 Posted November 9, 2020 (edited) A good friend of mine had brought home a huge pile of fire wood last fall, about 95% of it oak. It all needed to be split & stacked. The size of the pile made it seem to be an extremely daunting task. I offered my help so that the wood could be usable to heat his home. It took us just under four 8hr days but we finally finished today. Split, stacked & all of the trash cleaned up. First stack is placed on four 8ft by 8ft pallets and stacked about 6ft high. The second stack is on three 8ft by 8ft pallets and again stacked about 6ft high. He should have no reason to be cold this winter.
