8ntruck 7,007 #5176 Posted December 19, 2022 @Pullstart the snow wheels on your wife's Surburban. Are they 16"? Here is what I did a few days ago. I've got a drafting project going, so I dug out my dad's old ca 1940 student drafting machine: And re-worked it so it would be more useful for making C sized drawings: 5

OutdoorEnvy 1,522 #5181 Posted December 19, 2022 Finally had some colder night temps here over the weekend so set up the wall tent and got the wood stove going to start testing out the wood burn rates and getting a feel for what it will feel like at night. Went pretty well overall. Got down to 27 and I was comfortable inside in jeans and a t-shirt and stove wasn't even close to going full burn. I think we're good for a first hunt trip after Christmas. Tent size is a 10x20' morning eggs and coffee 2 7

Handy Don 12,232 #5183 Posted December 19, 2022 This landed in my news feed. Being a lover of words, it gave me a smile. "English is a funny language. It can be mastered, though, through tough thorough thought." 1 4

ALL snow that doesn't melt because it's warm inside the tent needs to be removed immediately.
rjg854 11,368 #5188 Posted December 19, 2022 On my way to the post office today at the airport I saw this, 2 Chinook's sitting on the runway. I live near a small village so it was quite surprising.

If I'll be using it with chance of snow I'll bring a shop broom or blower a long to get it off. Also thought about getting am additional tarp that's fire retardant to help with weather and spark from the pipe.

JCM 9,168 #5194 Posted December 20, 2022 Tested the 420 - LSE in the snow with no weights and chains. Didn't push my luck with it, just wanted to start it, and drive it to warm it up a bit. Snow pack was like cement. 1
c-series don 8,708 #5195 Posted December 20, 2022 @JCM PLEASE DO NOT put weights on those chrome wheels!!! I know you wouldn’t but I was just sent a picture of an LSE with front wheel weights installed and it made me cringe ! 2
