Tonight I made some spicy tomato chutney and some hot pepper relish. The pepper relish is extremely spicy hot, but has really good flavor You better keep that away from Jim and pullhosen! 2
Lane Ranger 10,968 #3002 Posted September 8, 2021 Sold a pair of RJ rear tires and wheels to a new RJ owner. He is picking them up today ! B.F. Goodrich. Power Grips. Oldies but goodies for an RJ! I used my M. E. Miller tire paint on them to brighten them up a bit!

With that much heat, how can you taste anything else? But, and I mean this sincerely, to each their own! Edited September 8, 2021 by Handy Don

Pullstart 62,871 #3011 Posted September 8, 2021 Gave the ole’ hitch a grease job this morning, Norman’s getting some fresh Rotella too. One last thing to do before I hook to a 5th wheel. Get some clips for the 1/2” pins holding the hitch to the plates! Next week I’ll be hauling a camper to drop in Daytona, FL, another one of my famous 3 day trips. Get south of Macon, GA in a day, get to Daytona and back to Macon in a day, make it home. 2450 miles in 3 days? No problem if you have a Norman! Well a Norman with a steel clutch pedal that is…

I signed a waiver once at the local minor league ball park to enjoy a sammich called “The Squealin’ Pig” which was a ghost pepper pulled pork topped with jalapeños. You know the normal exit wound burn from a little too much spice… well this one hurt to pee in the morning! 1

You know the normal exit wound burn from a little too much spice… well this one hurt to pee in the morning! I had a similar experience for a similar reason many moons ago. There was a builder that I used to deliver to on a fairly regular basis that just was a really great guy. I showed up one day with a flatbed full of stuff that needed to be hand unloaded. I wasn't feeling .... quite right. Had a cold or whatever. He could see that in my face almost immediately so he told me to go sit down in the back of his job site trailer and have some of the chili that his wife had supplied for him and his boys that day. He handed me a small bottle of hot sauce that was literally covered from head to toe in tin foil. I said what's up with that? Well, it wasn't exactly legal in the United States. I put the tiniest little possible amount you could even imagine in a 20 oz cup full of chili that had very little heat in it to begin with. It was hot. Like HOT. 🔥 🔥 Well A little while later I had to use the restroom and I was unaware that I still had some of that on my fingers..... Shouldn't take much imagination to understand what happened at that point. You may now laugh, cry, cringe, chuckle, whatever.

Stormin 9,981 #3016 Posted September 9, 2021 Been over to my mate Dunc's place in Scotland today. We're fencing and making rabbit proof, what will be the vegetable garden. We were erecting the bottom section today. Pleased the digger is equipped with a post knocker. Back tomorrow to finish it. Rain stopped play. This is the view down from the house yard. New workshop on the first level. Vegie garden and woodsheds then two fields. The trees extend to the end of the fields on both sides. Going to be some clearing out this winter. I know one thing. We're never going be short of fire wood. 3 4
Wheel Horse 3D 3,795 #3017 Posted September 11, 2021 Little heat gun treatment on a very weathered toy for our grandson...or grand daughter when she arrives an a month or 2. Still not perfect but a huge improvement, guaranteed no peeling paint, masking, or overspray. Left one little spot to show the difference. My ride got the same treatment on the window trim on either side of the windshield! Included before and after for that too.

I did the heat gun treatment on my '99 Ram about 3 years ago and it made a heck of a difference. I traded it off about two years ago, but it popped up for sale on FB Marketplace about 3 weeks ago, and it still looked good.

OutdoorEnvy 1,522 #3020 Posted September 11, 2021 Saved a 1968 Camillus Pilot's knife today...picked it up at an antique mall for the whopping price of $5.99. Not pretty and no sheath...but a small project for my son and I to see what she's got left for life... After some wire brushing and steel wool with a little vinegar...also rubbed the leather with some work boot lotion. Handle is still rock solid and overall cleaned up pretty good... We'll see how pretty we want to make it down the road... My son Jack, 9 years old, is already claiming it as his first knife And with the double finger guard I think it would make a good first knife... 2 3

Mickwhitt 4,624 #3023 Posted September 13, 2021 Been quiet of late as I've been so busy. Lots of community stuff and litter picking etc. Also while playing in the mower shop today a juvenile Swan landed on our driveway. All I could do was catch it and carry it the mile back to our local canal. 2
