I installed the tee at the brine machine inlet, then up and out to the new spigot!  Best part, no leaks!

 Been a rather quiet day. Did a bit of bush trimming by the pond while it was dried up, except for a muddy patch in the middle. Mooched about waiting for the call to go for the Santa Fe.

 4-30pm went to collect it, just as the heavens opened with a vengeance. When I got back the pond was no longer dry.

 

 Anyway, Santa Fe now has 12mths m.o.t, full service and a perfect repair to the quarter panel.

 

 Nearly forgot! Took swmbo to eldest daughters earlier. She's stopping overnight for a mother and daughter bonding session.

Well let's see. As much as I love reading this thread about all I have to contribute is this.

 

I started off the day by going to get a truck full of building supplies so I can drive around delivering building supplies.

Then I drove around southern Maine and I delivered building supplies.

I'll likely get a little bit of done on that. My intention is to get up in the morning and mess with the wiring on the Charger Hydro project.

Last couple of days have been a bit of a mish mash.

Plumbing work at my nephews new house, out door tap etc.

More work in our front yard, garden based on orders from above.

Made a rifle mount for an air gun, not my usual area but its metal after all. 

 

Oh and we have wood pigeons nesting in a laurel bush in the front, she tolerates us coming and going so should hatch her clutch of two eggs.

Completed installation of mantle unit. Just a couple moldings more to do. Bit of a rush since they wanted it for Father’s Day.

Those are the ones we installed three or four years ago now. Ancient foundation stones.

All done by hand with levers and fulcrums and a little bit of intelligence and brawn.

They are great. I am always looking for natural stuff to do things like that. That Dutch door is awesome. Did she clench nails on the back or she nailed boards from back? Don't seem to see nails in the front.

I'll let her know you said that when I see her later. She'll really appreciate that compliment especially coming from you.

 

I didn't actually watch her put it together. I want to say it was actually done with screws that were just a hair shorter than the combined thickness of the boards.

  Took a Husqvarna  ride on mower trans I had lying around to a friends. The brake on his was goosed and he has a very steep drive. As in Veeery Steeeep.

  Back home and mowed the lawn. Was going to mow the green etc but the C-125 had other ideas. Starter solenoid past its sell by date I think.

Thought I would give a little attention to the Lambert Project. Pin Stripe didnt want to stick very well. Never had such an issue.

Our property borders a backwater of the Little Saskatchewan River so we get a lot of wildlife passing through. This evenings guest.

Changed out a fried drive belt on my 15 year old toro push mower.

 

I must say - I am impressed that the belt lasted 15 years without fail, mowing 3 lawns a week for the last 5 years... and 1 / week prior to that. Ingenious drive belt system - simple and obviously very bomb-proof.

 

All in all - a great mower!

I changed the wheels on the wheelie bin - the old ones are for sale if anybody wants them, plenty of mileage left.

 

I found a way to use the wheelhorse and trailer for this project 😁

Done a bit more on the new exhaust system.

Decided on making one end cap removable so I can experiment with packing materials etc. 

I used some stainless steel spring clips I had laying around.

When I get a good set up I can just leave the cap on permanently.
