  Re-laid a patch of block paving this morning. It had settled a bit since I had to disturb it a few years ago to fix a drain.

 

  This afternoon took a ride down the very overgrown bridleway. Sears in low second and shears in hand, to deal with the shoulder high nettles and brambles that the Sears didn't flatten.

Easily my favorite snake. Black Rat snakes grow to be very good size and with gentle handling are very docile. Problem is everyone mistakes their little ones for copperheads as their coloring can be similar.

Emptied out the  barn and took down the lights.I had already insulated the roof. And tomorrow I'll put luan on the bottom of the rafters for the ceiling. Then I'll have to decide how I want to insulate the walls and finish them. Material is NOT cheap.

Last night did some chipping on a pile of autumn olive, amazing how much a big pile of brush can be reduced!

Tonight lab work getting machines ready for an influx of orders and maybe even start print on a GT14 dash!

Phew its hot here. 

Did a litter pick and collected 30 bags of rubbish thrown out of cars onto the road side.

Also finished a project for a lady who has an old dog who she takes out in a stroller. The handlebar needed replacing so I fabricated a new one for her. I did it pro bono and she got me some beer to say thanks.

My trusty printer, the one that has done ALL but one or 2 items thus far is down!!!

Not really that bad. Once i get an upgraded part and replace it well be back in business, but a few days delay.

  Farmer neighbour walked round this morning when I was busy mowing the lawn, before it got too hot. He talked with Carol and number 3 grandson who was visiting, then all three disappeared. I thought he was maybe moving stock and wanted them to stand at the cross roads. That was not the case.

  In the afternoon a breeze cooled things down a bit so I mowed the green.

  I found out where they'd been after dinner. Round to the farm. Why? To see a litter of week old pups. Since losing my two collies, 3 and 2 years ago, they have been much missed. After their passing I said no more dogs.

  Dinner over I was eventually persuaded to go see the pups. Three ******* and a cur. Cross breeds. Mother an Australian Cattle Dog. Father Border Collie. After some arm twisting by SWMBO, it looks like there'll be an addition to the household in five weeks or so.

Snails are on the best Way to destroy my complete Garden.

cucumbers, tomatoes and potato and even peppers

all is full of snails.

on the cauliflower i found 20 snails in one Plant...🤬

 

Now it’s urgently Time to fix the Mowerdeck,

and change the Belts, that i can cut them a******* all in half.

At the current rate of deterioration we're doubtful it'll survive another year.

 Finished the gt14 dash print, still needs tweaking, top holes a little off and still need to refine text and layers for the big printer. And can still go a little thinner.

Put Dug to work moving brush with some improvised 2x4 forks, and loaded a stack of roofing tin to move over to the new house from the old using the same forks.
