Stormin 9,981 #2531 Posted July 11, 2021 (edited) Been away for a few days at Carol's sisters. Her sisters family are dairy farmers and the farm is in South West Wales, Pembrokeshire. Her B-I-L and his eldest son are really into vintage tractors, though Dad can't do to much now due to a heart condition. So the inevitable happened. The first day there found me assisting on an old International B something. Just as well I'd taken my overalls down with me. The'y been struggling to get the gearbox cover back on. Wouldn't sit down. I realised the selector forks were not going into the gear cluster properly. Bit of measuring and we eventually got it together and working. Next day was to investigate why the clutch wouldn't work. So the tractor was split. Parts are now needed. So back to the holiday. Some sight seeing and a few photo's. Strumble Head lighthouse Grey seal basking in the sun. Irish ferry heading into Fishguard. Blue Lagoon. Red Bull had a diving contest here. A gantry was built over the lagoon at the top of the cliff for competitors to jump off. Canoeists. Farms resident gander. SWMBO having some light?? refreshment. Farm house. Philip. Eleanor. Carol. Brew stop on the way home. Bit of a rest before milking. Who knows This International may be up and running one day. Stormin 9,981 #2534 Posted July 12, 2021 Went into Carlisle this morning and finally bought a new mobile phone. (Cell phone) My old one went kaput. So now I've to try and let everyone know my new number. Couldn't use the old one. I couldn't remember it. Back home and mowed lawn, green and verges.

Pullstart 62,910 #2536 Posted July 13, 2021 Realized I’m 12 pages behind in “what did you do today”... and had the girls help me free a stupid chicken from a trap I apparently set. Rylee swears this one is the dumbest chicken we have. Jada and I concur that every chicken we have is the dumbest chicken we have. This fencing is left overs from the gate job I did a while back. We carefully unwound the round in a vhs tape fashion and cut off usable pieces for safe (larger rolled) keeping until we got to the damaged inside part and cut her free. Another funny thing. vhs is flagged as not part of our vocabulary! For a younger guy, that really dates me! 1 1

Just a drop or 2 on hot days but when they sit u can tell. Only tranny leaking is the 314. That seal is penciled in on the to do list haha.

Wheel Horse 3D 3,795 #2548 Posted July 14, 2021 Tinkered a little with Dugs relief valve. Pulled the spring and plunger and gave em a wipedown and replaced. Seemed like everything was "stiffer" afterwards. Had the bucket raised about waist high and was lifting myself on it to get a feel of the cylinder pressure and to see if there was any leak by. 2
