Lee1977 6,661 #902 Posted October 25, 2020 I went up to the neighbors house we trimmed trees and cut a half dead tree down for fire wood. Sharpened a couple of chainsaws first.

ebinmaine 67,508 #905 Posted October 25, 2020 I got on the roof and Trina in the basement and passed a rope back and forth that has a chimney sweep brush on it. Cleaned up nicely. Also installed these rain shields we got from some guy awhile back... @JCM look familiar?

They're all cemented and have been since bout 2003. About due for a refresher actually. Also in need of a metal roof come spring. We've a roofer/carpenter in the family. Him and I are gonna have to have a talk I guess.

JCM 9,168 #909 Posted October 25, 2020 Made up this boot rack for the cabin last week, painted it and installed it today. Just need to put the hooks on the left hand side for coats etc. Wood stove does a great job drying things out. 3 2

Pullstart 62,889 #911 Posted October 26, 2020 Unloading from the plow day. Me thinks with the help of a lift, “Bowinkle” can be stored up tight to the rafters!

Pullstart 62,889 #917 Posted October 27, 2020 (edited) I snuck over to the inlaw’s place after a Senior reveal and dinner, did some more plumber’s crack work. Gotta get this heat system wrapped up soon! Edited October 27, 2020 by pullstart Pictures 1

Have I missed something somewhere? That looks a superb Senior. I do mean the tractor of course. I would never refer to the young lady as a senior.

Well, she knows now!
Stormin 9,981 #920 Posted October 27, 2020 Fitted another rear wheel on the MF35 yard scraper tractor. Over the years slurry is a great steel rotter. Then some more work in the cubicle sheds ready for the cattle over winter.

Mickwhitt 4,625 #923 Posted October 28, 2020 Helped an injured grass snake which was laying in the road. We only have three species of snake in the UK 🇬🇧 grass, smooth and adder which is the only poisonous one. Our boy was about 2 feet long so probably 10 to 15 years old. Unfortunately he died but we recorded him for our wildlife survey.

I wish we had more snakes and thereby less rodents in my area.
Pullstart 62,889 #925 Posted October 28, 2020 I have to remember to appreciate snakes in the field and garden. It’s easy to do when I check the wood stove and a mouse devil goes hopping away.
