I have an ultra rare blood type, RO.  The R makes it extra special. I make a point to donate a double red every 16 weeks.  I consider it a fair trade... an hour of my time and some blood shed for a comfy seat, Orange Juice and cookies!

it’s the least I can do!
I’ve been giving regularly for years, but last year my sister in-law went through 33 units of blood delivering my niece.  That’s her entire body, plus two more body’s worth.

Received another roll of LED lights for the shop.  131.2 ft, something like $89 on the Jungle.

They work!

Got the Sears/Roper and lawn sweeper out first thing and swept the green after yesterdays mowing. Got finished just as the rain started.

Replaced a sheared engine mounting bolt on the C-125.

Rodded the drain from lane to pond, as lane flooded again. Water had drained away in 15 minutes.

I'm now just waiting for dinner to be ready.

As we sit with sad hearts on this 9/11 day, I have hauled 9.8 tons of gravel in to my new driveway in preparation for this wedding tomorrow.  My wife’s cousin will be marrying a new good friend and Navy Veteran.  Neither could have picked a better mate than each other.  The flag on the top of the loader looks tiny, but it is because 1/4 the bucket was about 6000 lbs.

I’m so excited to see this go down!  I have been asked to be the honorary lighter of the bonfire with a flaming arrow!

Wife decided she was going to help me mow the lawn today. With her 42" RD and my 60" SD, we made quick work of it!

Got my coal delivery yesterday, so it was time to clean the basement today. Then strip the coal boiler down and a scrap down the inside. This year I replaced the piping to the chimney. Took the burner apart for cleaning and reassembled everything, filled the hopper with coal. And now I'm ready for heating season. Hopefully that is still better than a month or more away.

Oh no no...

Ya can't get that woman to set a minute.

Go go go go go go go go go all day every day.

Today we spent a few hours working on clearing the back right corner of the yard.

I've been here 15 years and it's time to clear out some tree growth.

I felled (7?) Small/medium trees and sectioned up some of the lower portions.

We did a bunch of brush clearing and chip/shredded it. Still a ways to go but the open airy feeling is great!

After that we emptied out the rental truck and put all the show stuff away.

In between a thousand other things Trina and her mom split up a fair sized pile of firewood.

Dinner/supper was a couple lovely racks of pork ribs...num num num.

Showed up to fix a leaky shower drain, ended up finding a shower that is not waterproof anywhere.  There is water damage and the shower needs a tear out.  I can see through a grout line to the next room!

All because of shoddy work from a “professional” in the trade.

This first image, you can see through o the next room.

Professionals huh,

my Trainer would have chained me in the past,

if i build and finalized a bath without grouting all edges arround the Wet areas with silicone.

What a mess.

Went looking for buried treasure. Our state requires a POWTS (private wastewater treatment system) be inspected every three years like it or not. My how time flies. Had a little help from a horse and a tub.
