Mickwhitt 4,611 #301 Posted June 21, 2020 I've no idea what it will sound like, or what it will do to the performance of the engine. That's why I wanted to be able to change the filling materials. I've used perforated tube as the baffle and I have special glass blanket for the filling. Just got to fit a 90 degree bend now and I will see what it does as a temporary fitment. It's going low down on the chassis where I hooe it will be cooler too as the existing silencer really gets hot under the hood.

The little woman didn't think that yellow door was quite what she was hoping for so we popped it off again today. She went with the Apple Red that's being used on Colossus' sheet metal. Now THAT'S a door!! Trina also tossed a coat of paint on the side entry door. As you can see this side is still in primer and will eventually be orange like the front.
Mickwhitt 4,611 #303 Posted June 22, 2020 did a bit more work on the exhaust system. Not much though as we have six dogs in today so I've been pup sitting... 3
Pullstart 62,834 #304 Posted June 23, 2020 No pics, a rarity.... it my uncle is getting an outdoor island/kitchen put in. I helped him stub out of his house the rough in water, power and gas lines today, buried in PVC and bored through his poured foundation. Tomorrow I’ll finish the interior work in his 3’ high crawl space.
Pullstart 62,834 #305 Posted June 23, 2020 Forgot to mention, I think he might have a set of 4 heavy ply industrial/ag tires that came on his small JD SCUT. They might get negotiated into payment. They’re the same as @WHX24’s red and gold 1055 I think!

Mickwhitt 4,611 #310 Posted June 23, 2020 This is the new exhaust running with no glass wool or anything in the silencer can. Pretty quiet now that it exhausts under the chassis. 1
stevasaurus 22,717 #311 Posted June 23, 2020 Well, it's June 23, 2020...Tuesday. This would be the day that Chris and I would start driving to the Big Show in Pennsylvania. It's just about noon...I would be somewhere around Toledo, Ohio. A few more hours to the night stop at Streetsburg, Ohio. Instead, I am sitting here looking at Red Square and missing all that would be happening the rest of this week. I think I will look at pictures from the previous Big Shows. 365 1/4 days until I leave for the Big Show next year. 2
formariz 11,987 #312 Posted June 23, 2020 @stevasaurus I am going to miss the stop at the winery. Was looking forward to it. The Rebel Red and Tears of Gettysburg has run out a while back. A real bummer. 1

The Laser L95 I just sold had an exhaust like that, it was tucked into the chassis rail and excited out the back. That was a quiet machine but the exhaust gases tended to collect around you. Pullstart 62,834 #318 Posted June 25, 2020 Yesterday 3 generations took a little scooter ride for about 100 miles. We ended up at Charlie’s in Potterville, Mi. We even ate food! Inside! We really miss Grandma, but it was great to see Grandpa’s smile on his brand new trike! 1

Pullstart 62,834 #320 Posted June 25, 2020 Picked up a free car for scrap and trimmed a tree for a friend. No suspension or rolling stock on the car, had to pull it on with a chain fall. 3

Tractorhead 9,064 #323 Posted June 25, 2020 Had a full Service Day, firstly i changed the Oil on the Horse, because it have a lot of Seat time the last day‘s. After that i resharpen the blades and found a huge Wobble in the middle Spindle. I quickly remove the Beltpulley and pull that spindle. The old bearing was completeley locked up and begins to eat the spindletower. 😳 That clears what was the sirring noise. found a used sealed Bearing, that fits and i decide to exchange it for now. The diameter in the Tower is a bit stronger worn, but i was able to put a aluminum stripe arround to fix it. Than i set the Horse on the Forrest Way and give the deck a try, how the blades mow. Ok, the spindle seems to work again without any unwanted noise, even on slower rpm it cuts well engough. At least i give her a complete Wash.

lynnmor 7,305 #325 Posted June 25, 2020 I've been dreading cutting down this tree to bring down this dangerous Widow Maker. Well we had a very localized storm that brought it down, so now it is on the firewood stack. 3
