Just got back from a mission trip in Asheville, N.C., what a truly great experience that was.  They still need lots of help to recover, please remember them with any prayers and donations, the needs are many.  Samaritans Purse and other church organizations are where the vast majority of the help is coming from.

I, along with three others,  took five college students to Burnsville, N.C a little over a month ago.  I totally agree a lot of works still needs to be done. About any tradesman can be used and even those who don't feel they have anything to offer can be utilized.  The folks we met were sincerely appreciative of any help we were able to provide.  The college students were troopers and in college student style crawled in muddy crawl spaces removing insulation from between floor joists to installing insulation in tight fitting attics.

Basement wiring is done but for me swapping one ceiling light. 

New workshop now has its own dedicated 120V circuits for power on the left, and power plus ceiling lights on the right. Lights are switched by the front door.  

Yet to be done:
Two 220V circuits for heaters. 
Two 220V circuits for air compressors.

Yep. That's not mentioned because it was done two years ago on the initial installation.  

 

There's a dedicated circuit for each welder. 120V and 220V. 

Another separate circuit for an exhaust fan was added today.

Well I didn’t do it but my daughter and her husband did. My daughter sent me a text last night with an ad from the neighborhood I used to live in. This morning they went and got it. I guess I am the “new” owner of a 1988 520H. Couldn’t beat the price. Just need to make time to go get it.

It just never ends @Achto ... Just a couple of little guys tho. 

They were dead and in the way of landscaping for the yard art plow.

I have no idea what kind of trees these were. Some kind of ash? Very stringy in the splitter and not a soft wood. 

Good for the fire pit tho. 

Next is a ugly locust that has to go.

Could be elm.  Fibers are very stringy and tangled. I always waited until the coldest days of winter to split it - seems to cleve easier with the logs frozen.

I just got back from the F.I.R.S.T. Robotics world championship competition that were held in Houston last week.  I volunteered as a robot inspector.  Had a wonderful time interacting with the students while inspecting their robots.

 

The local high school team I mentor fields 2 teams.  Only the upperclass team qualified as one of the 600 teams in the world competition.  We did OK, ending up ranked #3 out of the 75 teams in our division.  We were the captain of the 3rd seated alliance in the 8 alliance double elimination playoff round.  We ended up 4th in playoff rounds.

 

Out of 3,690 teams world wide, we are ranked #62, #46 in the US, and #2 in the state of Mo.

Today I drove 6 hours, round trip, to pickup a rototiller for my 414-8.  I'll power wash it and disassemble far enough to replace the leaky shaft seal.  (Suggestions for parts sourcing?)

 

I also connected the throttle linkage & governor on the Troy Bilt tiller, and tweaked the carb.  It's purring away.

 

I guess I have no more excuses to delay Donna's garden expansion any longer!

  Wife and I like to sit in the middle garage bay and watch the world go by…not a whole lot actually goes by .  Snagged this small wooden wire reel the other day with a real wood core, most of the time the reels have a cardboard core. 
  Found leftover stain in the basement and slapped some on.! She’s ready to hold my cold snacks next time we do out sittin thing
