Our health insurance has paid for our Silver Sneakers gym memberships for 30 years. This year they switched to Fit On. Still pays for the gym membership plus some on line equipment and programs. The home virtual programs are actually working better as we can not leave my MIL alone. 1

New motors , seals and bearings I think we have over 100 tube stations throughout the whole hospital. Crazy how they operate and things get where they are supposed to be going. We have had some interesting things shot through it. I have heard some funny stories and removed some interesting things.
ML3 1,435 #7657 Posted February 1 (edited) Picked this up today! I know it's not a Wheel Horse but I always wanted one. It runs too! Chrysler made them initially for the military in 1979. Sold publicly 1979-early 1981. It will break down & can be packed up. Weighs only 70lbs. I already ordered a high performance sprocket, clutch, muffler, & exhaust which should make it faster to accelerate & double top speed! Spiegel and Avon catalogs. Super Bowl pool sheets, recipes, phone numbers, nude pics, lottery tickets ect. No but I have went up in the ceiling to help cut a pipe and we found three of them laying on the ceiling tiles. They had meds from 6 months prior. They shot out of an open TU park tube. Also have found a stuffed teddy bear, childs neck brace, underwear, blanket, Iphone, and several IV bags. We have one we put a siren in so you can shoot it through the ceiling and hear where it stops. Edited February 1 by 19richie66

Disinfecting a run is the worst. The bleach gets past worn seals in the stations and corrodes a lot of parts that usually don't need replacing. I did an ER station last month and when I placed the order for the parts the guy asked me why I needed all this weird stuff. It was because it was all rusty and corroded. These stations are supposed to be torn down every year but I don't think they were touched after I first left in 2017 1

8ntruck 7,340 #7666 Posted February 2 Update on the robotics team activity. The upper class team is well into fabrication and assembly. The chassis is assembled and the various subsystem assemblies are starting to get mounted on it. One of the subsystem is an elevator that lifts the game piece manipulator to various levels needed to score the game pieces. The elevator has a closed height of about 42", and an extended height of about 96". That was tested today, generating a to do list of small improvements to let it work smoothly. The electrical group will get the senior robot in the next couple of days to get the electronics installed and wired up. Hopefully, we will have a running robot late next week to debug and develop the programming and mechanics to get them where we want them. The underclass team is finishing up their CAD work and starting to get part requests to the fabrication group. I got some time on the CNC lathe tonight carving a few parts out of 2" round aluminum. Those things sure are fun to tinker with. Check out our build on ChiefDelphi.com. A good search to get you there is Chief Delphi 4522.

ebinmaine 70,398 #7669 Posted February 2 We got a LOT of stuff moved today! Our friend is visiting us for a few days. She don't "sit down" any better than my Trina.... So we moved a BUNCH of things from the basement to the new workshop. I put up the white sheet insulation (behind the two left side shelves) and set several metal shelves in place. Throughout the day I started organizing onto the shelves and into the black bins. The other two people were moving many other things while I was working on organizing the new workshop. They took several trips up to the second floor of the barn with camping gear to be stored. HUGE progress. From here: Using these: To here: The black plastic bins will be relocated a bit. The pegboard in the right far corner will be attached right where it stands. Likely I'll add more pegboard above the short shelf. I've been VERY careful to ensure that NO combustible items are within 36" of the nearest part of the stove. It'll be a long process. Many hours yet to go. Today was a HUGE boost. 3
Ed Kennell 40,309 #7670 Posted February 5 Spent a couple hours at the auction this AM. Picked up the park bench and about 50 lbs. of files, drift set, machinist blocks, mill and drill bits and some sports card stuff. Total price= $10.60. Then went to the grocery store and bought 3 bags. Total price = $98.37. 6

adsm08 2,573 #7672 Posted February 7 (edited) Slow day at work, so I got my own car in to change the oil, planning to cut the rotors for a vibration and found they were shot. .001 inches above discard. And I found a bad tie rod end, so two new rotors, two tie rods, and an alignment later my $30 oil change turned into $250. Can't trust those dealership guys, always trying to upsell something. OutdoorEnvy 1,730 #7673 Posted February 8 Had to replace the water pump and seals in my 04 Silverado. Seals on the backside started leaking. Decided to replace the pump too. After 21 years it did it's job. New ACDelco Professional one installed.
ebinmaine 70,398 #7674 Posted February 8 We went to the gym again this morning. I checked the scaled weight of only my hands while in push-up position. 185 or so. I've read that I should be able to bench press about 70%-90% of that number. After warming up I did a couple reps at 145 lbs. Nearly 80%. Could've done more but don't wanna push too hard yet. I'm pretty happy with that. When we got home BBT started in working on the new mama living space. I went out to the new workshop. Got a little organizing done and moved things around some more. I don't have the energy to keep going all day so I went and rested a bit. Trina kept at the basement. When I could move around again I helped her move a bifold door to the bottom of the stairs. A few minutes ago we were watching a Barred owl in the larger area out back. Now to wait for the snowstorm tonight. Forecast is 5"-6"...
