Tower on the roof for that one. Another tower for a centrifical  and 2 more towers for an absorption chiller

Today it was „Battery changing day.“

All Batteries died yesterday at same Timeline - i cound‘nt believe it, but it‘s true.

They all be over 4 years shure, but with different purchasing and manufacturing dates.

While find out what’s happen i lurking arround if there anywhere was candid camera or something.....

because it was so strange i couldn‘t believe.

My daily driver won‘t start firstly, than i thought ok, it’s about 6 years old, can happen so let’s get Katis- but same,

than i tried the Beast to thru the Forrest and about 25 Km to the Hardware Store - but just a gently clic....

At least i grabbed the Horsie - same only one charr charrr ploink Sound occurring.

Than i measured all Battery Voltage levels -

My daily driver‘s 8,2V, Kati’s daily driver‘s 8,7V, The Wheelhorse battery 8,9V, The Beast battery 4V

and for whatever reason and also my spare battery was just down at 3V - and that even if i recharge the rarely used machines or use them on regular basis.

Firstly i couldn‘t believe it, thought firstly my Voltmeter passes, but it shows the Charger Voltage is at 14,4V as allway‘s

than i grabbed the Workshop Meter to compare - same results.

All Batteries in the Vehicles are yesterday down to 3-9V and a charging over night doesn‘t help.

but Luckily i have a Wheelhorse with a Trailerhook and my beloved Trailer.

put all batteries in it and have a Hardcore Funny Ride 50Km all together to the Hardwarestore

and with new Batteries in the Trailer back home.

Sorry but because of that Scenario, completely i forgot to take any Picts.

What a f**** - 600 bucks at once - ouch.

- what ever happens, it appears to affecting all our Vehicles. -

The only affect all Vehicles have the yesterday‘s temp drop of 27 deg.C

I think i should play today in the Lottery, all that bad luck must be somewhere be compensated.😎😄

and my result of that Day

- it‘s perfect to have a Wheelhorse with a Pullstart aside 👍

have no better answer, so it must be something like this... 🤪

But however it was a strange experience.🧐

4 Batts and all died together on one day.

That is definitely a little spooky.

I was wondering if you saw any strange lights hovering over your house last night.

No lights no hovering.

I’m a dang realist, just wondering.

Finished up the two fence post replacements…

All I had to do was put up the dog-eared planks to fill the gap between the post and the house, cut the split rails to fit and position, nail the wire back on, and mount the gate latch.

I will finish cleaning up the mess when these rain showers stop and it dries out a little…

Well with summer coming to an end, I’ve really been putting more thought into tinkering with the 1975 C-160 I acquired probably a year or more ago.

My shop is a little cluttered from past projects so I decided to tidy up a bit.

Got started trying to straighten up and the Shop-Vac on/ off switch broke.

Of course I HAD TO take it apart and mess with it. The switch itself seemed to toggle back and forth just fine between on and off. But, the green and red buttons on top that work that switch just wouldn’t cooperate.
Then I thought “heck with it”. I did not want to order a switch and then the green and red buttons not cooperate with the new switch.
I’m just gonna get a new shop vac.

But, it has a perfectly good cord on it and my Skil Saw is needing a cord.

I decided to put the Shop Vac cord on the Skil Saw.

I knew I was getting into tricky stuff, trying to take a Skil Saw apart and wire in a new cord, but I got it done.
When I got the handle apart I found a warning label which I would not heed anyways.

I didn’t know I had to take the brushes out to change a cord !😆

Put out this boat fire this afternoon. I was in my garage when I heard the call come over the scanner to the coast guard on channel 16 for an active boat fire and subjects in the water. I was 3/4 of the way to our fire boat before my pager went off. Technically I don’t think this was in our fire district but when you’re out on the water there’s no definitive lines, so it’s basically whoever gets there first. Two people were pulled from the water onto another vessel. Luckily the water is still around 75 degrees and they are fine to the best of my knowledge. Sea Tow was able to get a line on it and tow it to shore and have it hauled, so no environmental issues or hazard to navigation.

Ninety hours after my C165's refresh, I de-carboned the valves & head but still have a miss around 3300 rpm.

I'm thinking a valve is sticking.  Did you clean out the valve guides and check the clearance for the valve stems?  Maybe new valve springs would help.

No, Ed I didn’t hear anything about the cause of the fire. I just know that the 10 minute delay from the time the Coast Guard received the call on Ch 16 to the time we got dispatched is to me unacceptable.

On the way home got rear ended exiting a roundabout. Not much damage, mainly scratches. Crap end to a good day. :(
