OutdoorEnvy 1,522 #5027 Posted December 3, 2022 Currently doing the initial burn in on a new wood stove for deer camp. Decided I'm making a switch to an old school wall tent and wood stove for the winter hunts/camps.

I got it from Cabelas as Amazon was out of stock. They were same price. 1
Pullstart 62,841 #5030 Posted December 4, 2022 My two post hoist has been down (up actually) for a month or two. The release cable broke and it was stuck in the air. Luckily, I was only using it to lift the Xi loader bucket and I was able to use an engine hoist to lower the bucket. Tonight, I removed the lift arms, then was able to use a LONG screw driver to manually release the clicker, to lower the lift to the point of the inspection/assembly holes. I fixed this side, and checked the wire on the other. Should be good to go for some time again!
Pullstart 62,841 #5031 Posted December 4, 2022 Yesterday, I replaced the 3 piece torsion bar mount on my winter beater with a 1 piece…. no more clunk! Gee, I love my trucks that AREN’T from Michigan!
WHX?? 48,815 #5032 Posted December 4, 2022 Finished splitting the Amigo @oliver2-44 @CasualObserver... to find the transmission input spline was not feeling good. Whatta heck of a tractor tho. Very unique design. Every single fastener is fine thread and parts are heavy! Afraid to crack open the tranny because... (A) she is a complicated affair and (B) sceered of what other damage i might fine what with parts made of unobtainium. Surely the odd ball to have in the herd! 2 4 1
19richie66 17,500 #5033 Posted December 4, 2022 Looks like to top just lifts off and that shaft is removable without tearing apart the whole trans. At least the picture looks like it. Don’t be scared Nubbie
WHX?? 48,815 #5034 Posted December 4, 2022 Thinking it does Ritchie ... the under seat high/low range lever under the seat for the two speed axle is just held on by the knob shaft and came off easy. Surprises me how the multitude of roll pins came out without a fight considering this gal sat out for years. Get things cleaned up more and get her top off... pun intended...... dying to see how that mid and rear PTO is geared. 1
19richie66 17,500 #5035 Posted December 4, 2022 Looks like a cool little tractor. Definitely looks heavy duty.
WHX?? 48,815 #5036 Posted December 4, 2022 (edited) Unreal Richie I'll do a thread on it once I get her done and get her driving. K161 what's not to love? Be lots of pics of that shuttle shift tranny. I had the motor puffing before I ripped her down... carb built and other essentials checked.
